The sand sculptures on the Frankston Waterfront are a must see this Summer. Brought to you by Sandstorm events they are a great day out combining with a trip to the foreshore playground or swim at the beach. This post is part of our Summer Series on the Mornington Peninsula.
This years theme is Day at the Zoo and the 3,500 tones of sand has been sculptured into all types of animals from all over the world. This event is on from Dec 26th to April 25th 2016.
We loved that each sculpture took us to different part of the world.
The sand sculptures are great across all age groups.
Woody is 4 and he loved playing in the sand in the free play zone.
Pepper is 7 and she enjoyed taking photos( with her iPad) of the sculptures, reading the information and then drawing them when she got home.
Cooper 10 enjoyed the cafe afterwards most!
The sand sculptures are on the Frankston Waterfront in Frankston VIC.
