When you travel and explore new places everyone learns something new.

One night while walking through the Vientiane night market a group of kids approached us and gestured that they wanted to walk with us. No sooner had we started walking the little four year old took the reins of Coopers chair. Him and his friends ran around with Coop laughing and giggling as they picked up speed. We covered quite a distance with these kids and while I was worrying about their parents missing them they were learning that a wheelchair doesn’t need or deserve pity it means fun. They joined us later for watermelon and mango and while I was wondering about any allergies they were just sharing a snack with new friends. Plain and simple.

Riding through the streets of Vientiane in the back of a tuk tuk. Woody is watching and learning all the time. It’s never just a way to get from A to B when you hear this little voice and see his little eyes alive with expression.

Enjoy the journey.

After too long I’m linking up with Trish at My little drummer boys for an almost Wordless Wednesday!
